Ko smo končno izločili Smetnjakov prvi uradni miks, je bilo napogosteje vprašanje zastavljeno s strani tistih, ki so mu izpostavili svoje slušne organe slednje: “Kje zaboga ste staknili tisto nadvse duhovito in norčavo predelavo Umekove kendi rejv himne Lanicor?” (Prav vsi niso uporabili natanko take formulacije.) Odgovor prihaja iz Novega Sada, kjer sta si roke podala dva bivša oblikovalca, ki sedaj bravurno orjeta po poljih plesne elektronike (se sliši znano?). The Good Guys sta poskočna in navihana, žanrsko raznolika (¡tokrat bomo izjemoma objavili komad z odrepanim besedilom!) s skupnim imenovalcem na elektro, energija šprica, njun nastop v živo pa je menda prav čedno združen z vizualijami. Smetnjakovo omizje je precej očarano in upa, da jih bomo lahko kmalu pozdravili tudi pri nas. (P.S.: Toplo priporočam sprehod med miksi na njunem myspace blogu.)
1. Who are you, what do you do and where do you do it?
Hello dear Smetnjak blog readers, we are The Good Guys – superhero rave prophets from Serbia. We make super-cool beats that make you wiggle and have this greatest audiovisual live act that’s a really must-see. We do it here, we do it there, we do it in the studio or at the party, we do it everywhere.

3. Which musician/music act did most significantly influence your music taste?
This is like the hardest question ever. We both went through so much music while we were growing up, so we see the current TGG project as a finely crafted mixture of all different genres. We have Louis Johnson on the bass, Gary Moore on the guitar, many old funky drumers which we love to mess around with, a lot of dusty, old synths and the best ex-Yugoslavian folk singers on the mic. Heavily compress all of that and you’ll get the most wonderful audio delight that we call The Good Guys sound.

Blue mitsubishi & Red puma.
5. Which are your superpowers?
Mosh of Glory, Holy P.L.U.R. and the Healing Strobe
6. Which song should have been on every CD recorded for the loved one?
Whitney’s theme from The Bodyguard. “I will always love you.”
7. Who is DJ Umek?
Uhm.. A big guy, really. :) We have an Umek shrine in our studio, right besides Nastic’s.
8. Why do they put round pizza in a square box?
Why do they always wear shoes in porn movies?
9. What do you do, when you are not occupied with music?
Bojan is studying to become the world’s best sound designer and playing tennis once a week, and Andrija is working for Serbia’s EXIT Festival as an Art Director and singing in a church choir twice a month.
10. Who is your favourite Game Over member?
Definitely Steffanio. He was always the cutest one.
